How to install and calibrate the touch screen for Pot of Gold machine

Installation:

1. put the adhesive stick around the touch screen’s inner edge; make sure the four sticks connect to each other to avoid the dust might get in later.

Do not put any thing or tape on the outer edge of touch screen; those tilt line around the outer edge is transferring the touch signal, if you put some thing on it; the touch game will not work.

2. Before you secure the touch screen on the monitor; make sure the touch screen will place in the center of the monitor.

3. The touch screen will be a little bit bigger then monitor; that’s normal,

This SAW touch technology screen is fairly new and is high tech, the advantage of it is; a. you can touch the panel unlimited times. b. the picture looks more clear then capacitive style touch panel. c. faster response.

Always add a holder under the touch screen; either wood or metal materiel is fine to prevent the touch screen panel shift.  

Calibration:

1. Make sure the controller hook up to the power +12V; the flat cable plug into PCB’s jack (count from right edge of the PC board; the 4^th jack.

2. Set the DIP switch 8 to ON position on PCB; then turn ON the power of the machine.

3. Press the setting switch (on solder side pin 14; black strip with white color wire) then will get into OPERATOR MANU; hold down the setting switch then use finger to touch the block on top right corner; mark TOUCH SCREEN then will get into SMT TOUCH TEST MODE; then press the clear switch (on part side; white strip with brown color wire) then the fist row; count from left side; at first block mark TOUCH SCREEN CALIBRT’s outer pink ring start flashing; then press setting switch again will get into calibration mode; just follow the instruction on monitor, use finger to touch the two location mark “x” on monitor then touch EXIT.
